Demo web shop – no real contract is created. “Szemes & Leveles” is a fictional brand; the checkout does not create orders and no payment takes place. The text below shows the general terms and conditions a real web shop needs. This English version is an informative translation; the Hungarian version prevails.
Effective: from 15 October 2026

These terms apply to orders placed on shop.weboldaldesign.com. By placing an order you accept them. You can download or print these terms from this page at any time.
2. What we sell
- roasted coffee and loose-leaf tea in sealed packaging;
- coffee and tea equipment (e.g. grinders, moka pots, French presses, mugs);
- gift sets;
- electronic gift vouchers.
The main characteristics of the products (ingredients, weight, size, material, care, best-before date) are shown on the product page. Photos are illustrations; colours may differ slightly depending on your screen.
3. Prices
- Prices are in Hungarian forints (HUF) and show the full purchase price payable.
- Delivery charges are set out in the Delivery and payment terms. Before you send your order, the checkout always shows the total including delivery.
- You can enter a coupon code (e.g. the demo code “DEMO10”) at checkout. The discount is shown in the cart total.
- If an obviously wrong price appears on the site (e.g. HUF 0 or a price an order of magnitude too low), we are not obliged to sell at that price. We will offer you the correct price; if you do not want it, the order is cancelled at no cost to you.
4. How the contract is concluded
- You add products to the cart, where you can change quantities and remove items.
- At checkout you enter your name, address, e-mail address and phone number, and choose delivery and payment methods.
- Before the “Order with obligation to pay” button, a summary shows the products, total price, delivery and payment method. You can still correct anything here, using the “Back to cart” button or by editing the form fields.
- By pressing the button you make an offer that involves an obligation to pay.
- We confirm receipt of your order by e-mail immediately, and at the latest within 48 hours. If the confirmation does not arrive within 48 hours, you are no longer bound by your offer. The contract is concluded with the confirmation. The confirmation e-mail also contains the link to the withdrawal function (“withdraw from contract here”).
The contract is concluded electronically and is not a written contract. We do not file it, but the confirmation e-mail contains all details of the order. The language of the contract is Hungarian; the English version of the site is an informative translation. We have not subscribed to any code of conduct.
There is no registration; you order as a guest.
5. Payment and delivery
Payment methods (bank transfer, cash on delivery), delivery methods, charges and delivery times are set out in the Delivery and payment terms. Where no delivery time is stated, we deliver within 30 days of the conclusion of the contract at the latest.
The risk in the goods passes to you when you, or a third party named by you (other than the carrier), take delivery of the goods.
6. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period runs from the day you receive the goods; for several items delivered separately, from receipt of the last item; for a gift voucher, from the day it is sent. You may also withdraw between the conclusion of the contract and delivery.
How to withdraw, return the goods and get your refund, and the model withdrawal form, are set out in the Withdrawal information. You can also withdraw online, using the “withdraw from contract here” link (shop.weboldaldesign.com/en/elallas/).
When is there no right of withdrawal? [Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014, Section 29(1)]
- Sealed coffee and tea once you have opened the packaging, as they cannot be returned for health protection or hygiene reasons (Section 29(1)(e)). Unopened packs can still be returned.
- Coffee ground at your request (if you ask for grinding when ordering), as it is made to your specifications (Section 29(1)(c)).
- Gift sets: the food items follow the two rules above; the other items (e.g. a mug) can be returned.
- Gift vouchers: the right of withdrawal ends once you have redeemed the voucher.
7. Legal guarantee (warranty for defects) and product liability
If the goods are defective, you can claim under the legal guarantee against us under the Hungarian Civil Code. The EU harmonised notice on the legal guarantee is available at shop.weboldaldesign.com/en/jogszabalyi-szavatossag/.
- What can you ask for? Repair or replacement, unless the chosen remedy is impossible or would cost us disproportionately more than the other. If you did not or could not ask for repair or replacement, you can ask for a proportionate price reduction or, as a last resort, withdraw from the contract. You may not repair the defect yourself, or have it repaired by someone else, at our expense. You may switch to another remedy, but you bear the cost of switching unless it was justified or caused by us.
- Time limits: notify us of the defect without delay after discovering it, and at the latest within 2 months. Claims under the legal guarantee expire 2 years after delivery.
- Burden of proof: within 1 year of delivery you only need to show that you bought from us (e.g. with the confirmation e-mail or invoice). After one year, you must prove that the defect already existed at delivery.
Product liability: for a defect in a movable item (product), you may choose to claim either under the legal guarantee or under product liability. Under product liability you can ask the manufacturer or distributor for repair or replacement within 2 years of the manufacturer placing the product on the market; you must prove that the defect existed at that time. The manufacturer is exempt if it proves that it did not manufacture or market the product in the course of its business, that the defect could not be detected under the state of science and technology at the time, or that the defect results from applying a law or mandatory regulation.
You may pursue claims under the legal guarantee and product liability for the same defect at the same time. Once a claim has succeeded (e.g. we replaced the product), you cannot claim the same again for the same defect on another legal basis.
8. Commercial guarantee (jótállás)
- A mandatory guarantee applies only to new durable consumer goods over HUF 10,000 that are listed in the Hungarian ministerial decree on product groups subject to mandatory guarantee (Government Decree 151/2003). For these, the guarantee period is 2 years for prices between HUF 10,000 and HUF 250,000 and 3 years above HUF 250,000, and we hand over the guarantee card with the product. Whether a product has a mandatory guarantee is stated on its product page.
- Under the guarantee you can primarily ask for repair. You can ask for replacement if the product cannot be repaired, if repair is not carried out within 30 days of your request, or if the product fails again after three repairs. If replacement is not possible in these cases, you can ask for a refund of the purchase price. We are exempt if we prove that the cause of the defect arose after delivery.
- The guarantee does not affect your rights under the legal guarantee and product liability.
9. Liability
We are not liable for damage resulting from improper use of the product or from ignoring the instructions for use. We do not limit our liability where the law prohibits it: we are fully liable for intentional or grossly negligent breach of contract and for damage to life, physical integrity or health.
10. Complaints
- How? By e-mail (info@weboldaldesign.com), by post (Hajnal utca 14. 2/13., 4029 Debrecen) or by phone (+36 30 609 5404).
- We examine oral complaints immediately and remedy them where possible. If you disagree with the solution, or the complaint cannot be examined immediately, we record it in minutes. Phone complaints receive a unique reference number, and we send you a copy of the minutes at the latest with our reply.
- We reply to written complaints in writing, on the merits, within 30 days of receipt, and give reasons for any rejection. If you send a complaint via an online form, we confirm receipt immediately.
- We keep complaints and our replies for 3 years.
- If we reject your complaint, we tell you in writing which authority or conciliation body you can turn to.
11. Remedies and conciliation body
If we cannot resolve the dispute, as a consumer you can turn free of charge to the conciliation body (békéltető testület) competent for your place of residence or stay in Hungary. The list and contact details of the bodies: www.bekeltetes.hu.
The body competent for our registered office:
Hajdú-Bihar County Conciliation Body (Hajdú-Bihar Vármegyei Békéltető Testület)
Vörösmarty u. 13–15., 4025 Debrecen, Hungary
Phone: +36 52 500 745, +36 52 500 743 · E-mail: bekelteto@hbkik.hu · Web: www.hbkik.hu
You can also complain to the county government office (consumer protection authority) for your place of residence, or go to court.
The European Union's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025, so we do not refer to it.
12. Other
- These terms are governed by Hungarian law, in particular the Civil Code, Act CVIII of 2001 on electronic commerce and Government Decree 45/2014 on contracts between consumers and businesses. If your habitual residence is in another EU Member State, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection rules of that country.
- The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy policy.
- We may amend these terms. Amendments do not apply to orders already placed.
